Story, photos and videos by David F. Ashton

While most other neighborhood associations take the summer off, on August 10 the Lents Neighborhood Livability Association (LNLA) did hold their monthly meeting as usual – on the second Thursday of the month.

Due to a strong positive response from our article about last month’s LNLA report, in which the guests outlined their messages directly, in a video – instead of recapping messages we’re continuing that format once again.

And, as usual, you’ll find the entire LNLA meeting recording imbedded in this article, below.

Attendees listen, as David Potts begins this LNLA meeting.

After enjoying the Mexican supper together, guests turned their attention to the meeting, which began with brief introductions, and a schedule of upcoming events.

Promptly, at 7:05 p.m., former Oregon gubernatorial candidate Christine Drazan speaks about her work, through her A New Direction initiative.

Watch as Christine Drazan describes her work in our video:

Next to speak is Will Lathrop, who is running for Oregon State Attorney General, seen here talking with folks before the meeting.

In this video, you’ll learn why Will Lathrop believes it should be he who is Oregon’s next Attorney General.

Meeting attendee Kristen Lee Morton shows information on her cell phone to attorney Jeff Merrick, who also spoke at this meeting.

Discover what Jeff Merrick, an Attorney, has to say about dealing with declining property values – in this video:

At this meeting 33 people had a great supper, met up with neighbors the already know, and also were able to introduce themselves to folks they’d met for the first time.

Now, watch the video of this entire meeting, produced and provided by the LNLA:
