At a springtime evening mixer held at “Portland Mercado” on May 30, members and guests of the Foster Area Business Association (FABA) learned that their signature summer event, the “Tasting Tour”, would be back again this year on July 8.
“This year, the ‘Spirit of Foster Tasting Tour’ will be teaming up with the ‘Second Saturday Art Walk’ along SE Foster Road,” said FABA President Matthew Micetic of Red Castle Games.
Foster Area Business Association President Matthew Micetic of Red Castle Games says he’s looking forward to the organization’s summer “Tasting Tour”.
“We’re expanding the event significantly this year, in terms of additional options for adults and bars and taverns,” Micetic told East Portland News.
“And, this year, visitors will find even more family-friendly options as well – including at art galleries, a “Taste of Tango” at Tango Berretín, and maker-type businesses, including K & B Bakery – where people can see fortune cookies being made!” Micetic said.
Also this year, FABA is producing a new “Walk-and-Shop Map”, and putting it in the hands of visitors just before and during the July celebration.
FABA members talk about the new promotions scheduled for Foster Road.
So, mark your calendars, get your walking shoes ready, and head out with family for a day of fun on the whole-family “Tasting Tour” along SE Foster Road.
