For the second time in eleven days, Rounders Bar and All Lotto, located at 11416 NE Halsey Street was the target of an armed bandit.

An :Armed Robbery” call dispatch on February 21 at 11:23 p.m. sent Portland Police Bureau (PPB) East Precinct officers there – a call dispatched, by coincidence, just two minutes earlier than the robbery call to that location on February 10.

As before, a man, armed with a handgun, entered the bar and demanded money.

Officers shut down a street, as they close in on the robbery suspects.

“After obtaining cash, the suspect left the bar without incident, got into a waiting vehicle, and was driven out of the area by a second suspect,” said PPB Public Information Officer Sgt. Pete Simpson.

As more officer arrived, one of them spotted a vehicle matching the getaway car’s description, Simpson said. “Both occupants were detained as potential suspects in the robbery. While investigating, officers discovered robbery evidence in the car, and at a residence, in the area that led to the arrest to two suspects.”
