With the aim of providing a place for folks to shop for Valentines Day gifts and also to socialize, the nonprofit Anniebug’s Attic Thrift Store gathered venders for a “Valentines Bazaar” at the Rosewood Initiative Center on February 2.
“We’re looking for folks to come and buy their ‘special someone’ a special gift from local businesses and crafters,” smiled Jim, from Annibug’s.
Michelle Montross and Nathan Montross of Sasquatch Barbecue Sauce Company provide samples of their locally-made products at the bazaar.
He pointed out that there were all types of beautiful gifts; and he added that those attending could win gift certificates from Anniebug’s.
“It’s fun coming to a bazaar like this; I’m finding many fun things to look at, and will probably buy several of them,” Hazelwood neighbor Darcy Manning told East Portland News, while browsing.
Showing off a dish of her special delights is Ruby Wynn of Tempted Palate Catering.
With many treats set up on a snack bar, shoppers and vendors appeared to be enjoying their day at Rosewood.
