About six weeks ago, very early on the Sunday morning of April 18, 2010, at approximately 2:32 a.m., two thugs barged into Charlie’s Teriyaki, located at 14800 SE Powell Boulevard, brandishing what appeared to be guns and committed a robbery.
But these weren’t typical bandits, police say. “The suspects entered the restaurant in a takeover-type robbery, tying the victims up and stealing money before fleeing the scene on foot,” reported Portland Police Bureau Det. Mike Smith.
“The suspects may be white males, in their mid-20’s, 5’6″ and 5’10” tall, and 165 pounds,” Smith continued. “Both suspects were completely covered in clothing, and may have gotten into a get-away vehicle after exiting the restaurant.”
Due to the violent nature of the crime, the cops would really like to get this pair of gun-toting bandits off the street.
