Help police put this outer East Portland Christmas gift ‘pudgy porch pirate’ in jail …

By the looks of her truck, as seen in this surveillance video still frame, it appears as if this “Chubby Package Plucker” has been doing a lot of porch purloining in the Hazelwood neighborhood. Help put her behind bars.

It didn’t take an “Elf on the Shelf” to see what a oddly-attired woman’s behavior was just plain wrong – stealing a package off the porch of a home in near SE 139^th Avenue and Taylor Street on December 11 just before 3:00 p.m.

“The package was a present intended for a child,” said Portland Police Bureau Public Information Officer Lieutenant Tina Jones.

Here she comes! Ready to steal some joy from a child’s Christmas.

“Surveillance video of the incident captured a female suspect and associated vehicle,” Jones said; CLICK HERE to view it.

Although someone was home, it didn’t stop this “Chubby Package Plucker” from parking her truck in the street, half-jogging up to the door, and stealing the package.

“The Portland Police Bureau reminds those who may consider engaging in this type of nefarious behavior that we do take these seriously – and remember, Santa is watching!” Jones said.
