Oddly, the wounded victim in this outer East Portland shooting outside a ‘gentleman’s club’ went to a hospital in Clackamas for treatment …
Officials didn’t know that a person had been shot outside this nightclub in the Hazelwood neighborhood – until they were tipped off by the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office.

A fight that led to a shooting on November 29, at 1:53 a.m., outside Club Sin Rock at 12035 NE Glisan Street, had something missing – a gunshot victim.
This incident officially started when the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office contacted the Portland Police Bureau (PPB) regarding a victim who had arrived at a Clackamas area hospital with a gunshot wound. Based on preliminary information, 9-1-1 call takers and deputies believed the shooting had occurred in Portland.
Officers search for evidence of a shooting in the “gentlemen’s club” parking lot – and they find it.
“PPB Officers responded to the hospital, and learned the shooting had taken place at Club Sin Rock,” said PPB Public Information Officer Sergeant Christopher Burley. “Officers believe that after the shooting, the victim was transported by private vehicle to the Clackamas area hospital to receive treatment.”
As officers contacted the victim at the hospital in Clackamas County, Burley said, additional officers responded to Club Sin Rock and learned a fight had indeed occurred in the club, followed by a shooting outside.
After initial treatment at the Clackamas hospital, the subject was transported by ambulance to a Portland area trauma-level hospital for further treatment.
“An initial medical assessment of the adult male victim suggested his injuries were non-life-threatening,” Burley said.
Taking a second look, this officer canvasses the area, looking for more evidence.
“As officers canvassed the area outside of the club, they located evidence of gunfire,” Burley informed. “Based on information learned during the investigation, the PPB Gang Enforcement Team responded to the location and assisted with the investigation.”
Anyone with information about this shooting should contact the Portland Police Bureau Tactical Operations Division’s Gang Enforcement Team at 503-823-4106.
