“Officers located a motorcycle, off the road, that had gone into a creek,” a PPB official said. “Medical personnel from Portland Fire & Rescue and American Medical Response arrived to provide lifesaving care, but the rider, an adult male, was determined to be deceased.”
The PPB’s Major Crash Team came to investigate the crash, closing SE Barbara Welch Road, between Foster Road and 152nd Avenue, for several hours.
The accident remains under investigation; other information, including the deceased’s name, has not been disclosed.
